1. About Amstaz
Amstaz is an online marketplace operated by Priyabrata Chowdhury (sole proprietor), based in Durgapur, West Bengal, India. Amstaz curates and lists personal care and wellness products that have been screened for harmful chemicals, and facilitates transactions between customers and sellers.
Amstaz operates as an intermediary platform under the Information Technology Act 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020. Amstaz holds a valid GST registration.

3. Account Registration
To place orders you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential and not sharing it with anyone
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate, complete, and current information
- Notifying us at priyabrata.amstaz@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access
Amstaz reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information, engages in fraud, abuses the platform, or violates these Terms.
4. Products & Listings
Amstaz manually reviews and lists products that it believes are free from harmful chemicals based on publicly available ingredient information. However:
- Amstaz does not manufacture any product
- Product formulations can change without notice — we rely on information provided by brands
- The Ingredient Safety Checker is for informational guidance only, not professional medical advice
- Individual reactions vary — please patch test before use
- If you have a medical condition or known allergies, consult a dermatologist before purchasing
5. Orders & Pricing
5.1 Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted only when Amstaz sends a confirmation via email or WhatsApp. Amstaz reserves the right to cancel any order before confirmation.
5.2 Pricing
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST where applicable. Prices may change without notice. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you pay.
5.3 Order ID
Each order receives a unique Order ID (format: AMZ-YYYYMMDD-XXXX). Please save this for any future correspondence about your order.
6. Payment
Amstaz currently accepts payment via UPI (Unified Payments Interface) only. All payments are in INR. By confirming payment at checkout, you confirm that you have sent the correct amount to Amstaz's UPI ID.
Orders remain in Pending status until Amstaz manually verifies the payment. If payment cannot be verified within 48 hours, the order may be cancelled.
7. Shipping & Delivery
- Amstaz delivers across India. No international shipping at this time.
- Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days after payment verification, depending on your location
- Amstaz is not responsible for delays caused by logistics partners, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control
- Ensure your delivery address is accurate. Amstaz is not liable for failed delivery due to wrong address provided by the customer
- Risk and title pass to you upon successful delivery
8. Returns & Refunds
Amstaz offers a 7-day return window from the date of delivery, subject to:
- Product must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
- Opened, used, or customer-damaged products are not eligible for return

- Refunds are processed to your original UPI ID within 5–7 business days of us receiving the return
- Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the product is defective or incorrect
- Refunds are not available for digital services, AMS points, or lottery prizes
9. AMS Rewards Program
- 1 AMS point is awarded per purchase on Amstaz
- 1 AMS point = ₹2 discount on future orders
- AMS points have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash
- AMS points expire if your account is inactive for 12 months or upon account termination
- Amstaz reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the AMS program at any time with notice
10. Monthly Lottery
- All customers with at least one verified order in the calendar month are eligible
- Prize: ₹2,000 cash or any one product worth up to ₹2,000 — winner's choice
- Winner is selected personally by the owner of Amstaz at month end
- The decision is final. No alternative prizes or cash substitutions beyond what is offered
- This is a voluntary goodwill initiative, not a regulated lottery or gaming activity under Indian law
- Amstaz may discontinue the lottery at any time with notice
11. Prohibited Uses
You must not:
- Use Amstaz for any unlawful purpose under Indian law
- Provide false, misleading, or impersonating information
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without permission
- Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other accounts
- Resell products purchased on Amstaz commercially without prior written agreement
- Post fake reviews or mislead other customers
- Use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm others
12. Intellectual Property
The Amstaz name, logo, tagline ("Pure & Safe"), website design, product descriptions, and the Ingredient Safety Checker are the intellectual property of Priyabrata Chowdhury / Amstaz. No part of the platform may be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without prior written permission.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
Amstaz is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee that all products listed will always be in stock.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Indian law, Amstaz and Priyabrata Chowdhury shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform
- Any adverse skin or health reactions from product use
- Delivery delays caused by third-party logistics or natural events
- Data loss or technical failures beyond our reasonable control
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
15. Consumer Rights Under Indian Law
These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019. You may file a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline at 1800-11-4000 (toll-free) or approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission if your grievance is unresolved.

16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Durgapur, West Bengal, India. We encourage resolving disputes amicably — please contact us first.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and notified via email where possible. Continued use after notification means acceptance of updated Terms.
